We had a wonderful launch event for the new Belle Hawk Artworks last evening! Thanks so much to all who helped this evening come to life; especially Amy and Benjamin from Benjamin Black Goldsmiths who hosted the evening in their elegant space. Bubbly and canapés, the grand piano playing and lots of our favourite people in the room. What a treat!
For me it was super-satisfying to hang my paintings on the walls and present them to the world. (Well, to Nelson at least). All unsold paintings are still available to purchase in our webshop. Digital gicleé prints in A3 and A2 size of all paintings are also available - please enquire.

This charming collection of A4 collages is the latest addition to the Belle Hawk Art store. These are hand-crafted using the same complimentary spring colour palette featured in our launch collection of paintings.
Heavy watercolour paper, signed and posted flat on foam board with a cellophane wrap, these make fantastic gifts. They look great in a group or just simply framed up in white.
First release of six collages, with six more to follow.

I'm happy to inform you that we are jumping into a gorgeous new retail space here in the central city, Nelson.
Nook Design store is brimming with stylish home ware, art prints, accessories and jewellery. Nook has a definite Scandinavian palette with loads of white, charcoal, blush and some mint thrown in. There is a wonderful overlay of textures: natural woods, chunky knits, copper, leather, and our blonde plywood. Yum!
You can see our plywood cubes and have a play with your choice of design and colour on one of the sliding lids. You can mix & match and change them out according to decor. You can decide whether you need one or two beside the bed, in the children's room or the living space or hallway to store all those extra hats, shoes, books, bags... !

Just to let you know that the Belle Hawk range is now stocked in the fabulous homeware store, Darby & Joan out at Mapua Wharf. The Mapua wharf area is enjoying a fantastic makeover and now has a great collection of shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries in a stunning little setting. Just 30 minutes drive from Nelson; Such a beautiful spot to while away a few hours shopping and eating and enjoying some sunshine.
Sue at Darby and Joan has carefully edited a beautiful selection of products. I want it all! Call in if you have the chance...

The go-ahead people at The Bridge Street Collective have put together a fantastic pre-Christmas pop-up store in their cafe. They have a great selection of local designer goodies. Jewellery, artworks, environmentally-friendly textile bags and wraps from The Green Collective and Empire Eco Designs; and of course the Belle Hawk stable of plywood storage - shadow boxes, bedside cubes; paper prints and linen tea towels.
