Hi everyone,

I'm enjoying a break from exhibiting for a little while and the opportunity to delve into some studio time.
It’s a great chance to explore and investigate some new ideas, work with some new materials and complete some commissions.
I am pleased to make some new originals available on my website too. They have been a while coming!

I will have some new work at my favourite galleries too, so keep an eye out for new arrivals at Little River Gallery, Turua Gallery and Gallery DeNovo. My limited edition prints are also available at Te Papa Store and Red Gallery.

I’m excited to share my latest body of work with you all. This will be my third show with Little River and I am thrilled to be working with this exceptional gallery. The contemporary space will be filled with landscapes large and small, along with a few floral paintings.

I’ve been working hard to pull together a collection that speaks of New Zealand summer. Shady river scenes and illuminated hills, telling the stories of a hot, dry summer.

Please join me in the gallery for the official opening on Saturday morning 10am, April 6th.

OPEN STUDIO NOVEMBER 9-17th ‘23 November 05 2023, 0 Comments

Hello lovely people!

I’m moving out of my beautiful studio gallery space at 27 Vanguard Street and so decided it was a good time to hang some paintings on the walls and open up the space for a week or two.

It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work in this large and light-filled space. New tenants are taking over the entire building and so it is time for me to move my practice elsewhere. New studio location TBC…!

Meantime, I will be packing up my things and finishing off a number of paintings which will be available to view and purchase from the studio over the next couple of weeks. It would be wonderful to see you at the studio!
Please feel free to drop in anytime between 10am-3pm Monday to Friday or by appointment.

NEW PAINTINGS & AN UPCOMING SHOW August 24 2023, 0 Comments

Hello everyone,

just to let you know that I’ve updated my website with two new original paintings. They are landscape studies with a European flavour; showing soft-edged dwellings in a shadowy landscape setting. I’ve named them ‘Stone’ and Terracotta’ in reference to the surfaces of the buildings that throw a soft play of light. I spent years living in Spain and these colours and tones come back to me time and time again.

In other news, I have a group show coming up next month at Little River Gallery. This a floral exhibition opening 23 September. It’s sure to be a visual treat!
